Another Brazilian final
For the second year in a row, the Libertadores Cup will be decided by two Brazilian teams. Internacional confirmed its favouritism by defeating Paraguay's Libertad 2-0 last night at the Beira-Rio Stadium, in Porto Alegre. Despite a nervous scoreless first half, Inter managed to get two quick goals after the 60-minute mark to kill the game. It will now face defending champions Sao Paulo, with the advantage of playing the last game on home turf. It promises to be a very level battle, with no clear favourites. Sao Paulo will be going for its fourth continental title, while Inter has yet to taste the glory of being the top team in South America. One thing is certain, though. There will be a Brazilian team in Japan in December, fighting for the Fifa World Club Championship.
